cats are G-A-Y

ok... so went to mission fest last week... check out the facebook for pictures ... blah blah ... the kids had a great time ... no one had to go to the hospital ... (better than last year!) ... i am house sitting right now for the boss... they keep their house on a cool and comfortable 80 ... it is colder outside ... also they have a 500 year old cat ... that vomited all over the floor today ... cats are G-A-Y ...

well otherwise life is chugging along... mostly without me ... but i will catch-up soon... or run out of stamina and need oxygen ... either way ...

now time for a rant ....

weddings in the summer ... i think that it is inconsiderate to get married in the summer when people are trying to take vacations... why not get married in march or october... no one is busy then... no one is taking a damn vacation then .... also in the summer it is hot ... and you sweat... sweat looks bad in a white dress... air conditioning can only do so much !! ... preachers hate summer weddings ...they want a break...but does anyone care ... no... they go right on ahead getting married in june and july ... ill be damned if i get married in the summer ... (quote me on that ! )

okay ... i havent had anything to say for awhile... but tonight ... i am full of things to say .... it seems that many people have abandoned the xanga sites because myspace or facebook are more popular... i have never been one to follow the crowd... so here i am anything but a sheep...

i am george bailey... i am that guy who has these great dreams of going places but never makes it there... circumstances have changed the direction of my life many times .. but never in the way that i had expected... i would not change anything... but at the same time ..i would not make the same decisions given the same situation...

stay tuned... i am about to overcome the circumstances...

ok... so about that being busy thing last time ... well my life just got overly busy... i had to take care of my parents and go to hospitals and doctors and crap...and if you know me you know how much i love that kind of stuff...

things are ok ... i am tired... and it is good to be home... (tupelo) ...

this weekend i am playing at the cow patty festival in saltillo... (yes i said cow crap...)

well another week... and what is new ... actually ... i am very busy... i love it ... being busy that is .... tonight is the only night this week that i will be home before about 11.... (yeah 11 is not that late i know ... but when you are working from 9 am till 11pm it is ) ...

i had an epiphany...

i am horrible at saying no!! ... (especially if it is something that i dont know how to do) ... examples:::

-- 4th grade.... they needed someone to sing a solo in the christmas play .. the second verse of silent night ... so they asked who knew that verse... i raised my hand  (did not know the verse ... but i learned it )

--9th grade....  decided to join the band ... (didnt play any band instruments)... told them i could play french horn... (should have picked an easier instrument... but i can play it now!)

--11th grade.... does anyone know how to build a wheelchair ramp... (guess who .. not me but i pretended real well) .. now i really do know how!!

--after college... i took this job .. and had no idea how to do it ... i still dont ... ha ha that joke is on them....

i could list loads more ... but i dont have time ... i need to work ... but my conclusion is that i learn better just pretending that i know what i am doing !!

so next week i think i'll try brain surgery

hell has frozen over ... i am singing ... (yes that says singing) ... with a microphone... in front of people.... by myself.....i am going to leave it at that ... and for those who want to know more ill let you know when i know ...... why are people silly enough to ask... i never say no to singing ... (no matter how bad i am ...)
